About a week ago my swordtail started acting sick. she was always resting on the gravel and i noticed she had stringy poop. I treated the tank for internal and external parasites. She got better pretty quickly, but today she started acting sick again. she rests on the bottom or hovers right above it and it's always in the same place. She will swim around fine if i go over to the tank, and she is eating like normal. But she spents lots of time in the corner. Nothing looks wrong with her from the outside, so i'm thinking it's something internal. Any ideas on whats wrong with her?

Does she rest on the bottom of the tank to oneside as that can be a bacterial infection.
Check the anus to see if its enlarged or red and inflamed.
Size of tank in gallon or litres, and stock of fish in that tank of how many and which kind.
Also what are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Check here but don't panic as a bad diet can cause long white stringy poo.

She doesn't rest to one side at all and she is red in color so i can't tell if her anus is inflamed.
She's in a 55gal. with: 4 Boeseami rainbow fish, 1 german blue ram, 5 rummy nosed tetras, 3 neons, 4 corys, 1 longfined daino.
The water stats are:
Ammonia-0
nitrite-0
nitrate-35
ph-7.6

Long stringy white poo can mean a number of things from constipation, bacteria infection, to internal parasites.
I would try her on some shelled peas, but she dosn't sound right if she resting alot, is she bloated.
And what do you feed your fish.
