i've salt dipped them & added melafix. will continue this for at least 7 days!!!

o man, thats awful! how long were they together, iv nvr seen 2 fish so messed up after a fight  it sounds like u know what ur doing with treatment thogh, i hope they make a full recover

Did they jump a divider or something? Hopefully they get better soon.

I had 2 females together (which I thought was going to be ok), and they fought, so I had to separate them. One got torn up very bad, but they are both better now after some salt and indian almond leaf treatment.

they were in that tank together for about 4 months maybe? i can't remember for sure, but it's been awhile. they both seem to be holding up. they seem to actually like their nightly salt dips. and the melafix seems to be working. i swear i can see tiny regrowth on bb.

You probably DO see re-growth...the salt dips are amazingly great at making that happen quickly.

yes, unfortunately calico's natural fighting instincts took over & he jumped the divider while i was at work. i came home to both bettas on bb's side of the tank with calico swimming around at the very top of the water & bb hiding out on the very bottom underneath the whisper filter :(

hopefully the nightly doses of melafix and salt dips work!

at least both are eating normally and still swimming around curiously. those are good signs.

Wow - those are some pretty mangled fins.
Poor little buggers.

You will need to sit them down and have a discussion with them on wall jumping, you know.

You should start noticing regrowth pretty fast with your treatments.
Good luck!

Post updated photos when the are improving :)
