Poor Little Girls

just been to one of my aquatic places and the fish are usually really good....same bloke in there..there were dead fish in the tanks..no male bettas but 2 tanks with girls in one tank had 4 or 5 girls in they were sitting on bottom of tank with clamped fins and one was dead up the corner...got like white fungus on them. In the other tank there were 3 or 4 and they were in a mess as well, not as bad but one had a big wound in its side. They were swimming but very stressed. Not sure of tail type it was where they have a split tail at back...one looked just like my cambodian but they were sick....the bloke was talking to a customer I just came out...

there was a tank of girls at my lfs today 4 dead ones and a few with clamped fins, they had only just come in though.

I really hate going into petsmart and looking at their females in those cups of blue water.
Last time we went.. when I got my new boy Caine.... all of their females were SO tiny and SO cute.. and just SO miserable.

A week ago when we went to Superpets.. they had 2 female bettas in a tank with some guppies... one was dead, the other was laying on the gravel looking almost dead. World's most abused fish other than goldfish.
