Hello,

my family and i have been digging up til now what seems to be a big kidney shaped hole. any suggestions on the type of liner i can use?

right now the preformed kind is out of the question, so there's plastic pond liner. its too big for any one size. i was wondering if the attaching tape works well. im afraid of leaks.

You can buy very big liners online,if you want I'll try find you the site bribones of here ordered a liner from it.

rubber liners are better than the plastic. They stretch better, are heavier, and last over twice as long. What size is your hole? You can find liners anywhere up to 50 ft wide and 100 ft long so I don't think you'd have a problem using one piece. Although a liner any bigger than 30'x30' is probably more than you can handle by yourself.

2 other options though more expensive are fiberglass and gunite. Fiberglass can be installed by a profesional over the hole you have created and incorporate any bulkhead fittings and drains you'd wish to add. Gunite is a sprayed concrete that could do the same. Both of these options are fairly expensive because they require a professional to instal but will last forever and be the easiest to maintain.
