I have three polka dot loaches, i've had them for many wonderful months now. they've always been very social and confident, but never did any "wrestling". The other day and also tonight, i found two out of three swirling ariund each other. i've seen other's "wrestling" videos and such but this is much more violent looking. they become very pale. their color returns to normal after some time, but I'm just worried that this might not be normal... :/

My water stats are great, ammonia and nitrites are both zero with a stable ph.

Any insight or help would be appreciated!!!!!I'm scared that something may be wrong here...
The behavior has stopped, and i can't see any injuries, but their coloring is still pretty pale. my whole tank is worked up!!! :0
Not too sure how to upload a vid from my phone

Hi greenmumma.

from seriouslyfish's profile on them.

When kept singly they can become withdrawn or aggressive towards similarly-shaped fishes, and if only a pair or trio are purchased the dominant individual may stress the other(s) to the extent that they stop feeding.

I'm thinking that you might need to get a few more to cut down on the aggression.

I think you're completely right Eagles. i alwsys meant to up their numbers after a while and i think it's time.

if i occasionally see a tiny white wiggly worm looking thing, is that bad?? I keep spotting them and now I'm thinking parasites!?! Ah!!

Google "detritus worm".  That's probably what you are seeing.  Totally harmless.  Just do a bit more thorough job vaccing the substrate. :p  If they are out and about, they will get eaten by the fish.  Good protein.
