can u help please new to this hobby read alot but just buying tank 30inchx12 x11 their are fish in this plecs large it says and also gold fish large and smaller fish not sure what the plecs are or the other small fish is this normal for plecs to be with goldfish hoping u can help

The pleco could be either a coolwater one or tropical (yes, some people put tropical fish in coldwater tanks and this is bad), can you describe him in detail or post a photo?

depends on the plecs regional home if you can place in cold water plus its size/age/and subspecies however they do grow rather large common plecs especially the Hypostomus version.
