Plecs Eating...

I can't get them to eat anything other then my bog or what is available on the sand/glass. they pass over the the tabs i give then (Luckily the goraumis love them)

Should i try cucumber? if so how long can it be left in there???

try cucumber or potato that is weighted down.
I have never bothered, Sebastian is 4 years old and over a foot long.
He's never touched a flake or wafer in his life.
He will sometimes pick up leftover Tetra Prima from the gravel.
Not feeding him wafers etc means that he keeps the glass spotless.
He's one top dude !

Cucumber should be removed after about 12 hours or so. Don't leave it in there though, as it makes a real mess! Also, I find it better to remove the seeds from the cucumber before putting it in. Less mess

With lettuce, I find that the crispy white parts of the lettuce are best. Also, pour boiling water onto the lettuce and leave for a minute to soften it. Works a treat!
