Pleco With Long Stringy Poo.

i just noticed while i was feeding, the pleco who was sitting on the side of the bell i have had a long strand of poo which was fairly long and it kinda had intervals of normal brown poo and the there were clearish white bits to, i was just wondering if this is a problem, i think i noted it in one of my gouramies a while ago befor i lost them.

is it a problem?
what should i do?

i would say no. plecos are said to be dirty fish, fed properly they trail poo around all the time. dont worry, its just being a pleco

i would say no. plecos are said to be dirty fish, fed properly they trail poo around all the time. dont worry, its just being a pleco

When I first got my plecs I panicked too. I thought one had eaten some of the cotton I used to attach plants to wood! When I saw another one with a similar attachment, I kind of figured. They are prolific poo-ers.

no worries guys, it did worry me because i jumped straight on and the first few things i noticed were parasites and poo blockages lol but i think i just freaked out because i haddnt noted them pooing until now so yeah all good and thanks for the advice .
