Pleco With A Severum?

I was wondering if a severum can be kept with a pleco? Are severums agressive towards fish? I had two great danios in the tank with it and the danios never seemed to mind, but I'm not sure if this was because they could escape it. Will the severum pick on slower moving fish?

No plecos and just about any cichlid are fine together they don't even give them the time of day unless it's feeding time and waffers are around. It will be fine. Severums are great fish and do fine in a community tank for the most part. They are very laid back fish most of the time. It's mixing other cichlids together is when it can get tricky.

Severums barely notice plecs IME, so as long as your tank is large enough to accomodate both species then no problem at all.

I have an 18" pleco in with 2 severum, he is a bit hard to miss but the sevs ignor him the only time they do nip at him is when they are guarding eggs.
