Pleco Poo

I have a common pleco (let's not get into THAT discussion here, please!) and a 55g with an ivory sand substrate. I thought the massive amounts of poo manufactured by this guy looked like a lot when I had gravel, but now I see it EVERYwhere. I spend about half an hour each and every day, sometimes twice, sucking it up.

I have a spare powerhead and am wondering if that will help move it over to the filters? The biggest problem I can see is disturbing everyone else, especially the cories. Will the powerhead make it too difficult for them to feed?

Yes, I am looking to rehome it. But in the meantime ..........

I have shrimp in the tank. It would take about a thousand of them to keep up with the poo machine, though.

oh that i would like to see! a pleco walking over to the cat box, evicting the cat, doing his buisness and then walking back into the tank only to eat more stuff!!

Pleco is a type of catfish isn't it? Could be possible with an air breathing catfish! I'm goin on youtube to look!

with the power head, can you adjust the flow rate at all? also, put something over the bottom of it (pair of tights will do) and place the intake into the gravel so it moves the water but doesn't have enough flow to it as to cause cory problems.
