My two plecos have had fry, I've not noticed male acting any different so never picked up on the eggs.

Now have fry in my community tank
(cardinals, red fin shark, rainbow)

How do I find these tiny fish to move or will they be safe in the community tank?

Thank you

All I can tell you is to give them lots of hiding places...plants and caves. Anyone else?

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Don't try to find and remove them because you will kill them if you lift them out of water before they are a month old.

Have lots of driftwood and plants in the tank. Leave algae to grow on the glass and the babies will hopefully survive. When they are bigger and older you can catch them out like any normal fish.

Thank you all there is plenty hiding places for them. Will keep a eye and hopefully they will be OK

I think it’s cool that you have Pleco Fry! :)

You should enter one of your baby’s in the next FOTM contest! :)
