I got a plec several months ago which the LFS employee told me was a sailfin plecostomus. It is dark black, with various spots on the body. More pics coming...

It looks more like a common to me - will get to 12" + and poo like mad -

Agreed, doesn't look like a gibby but a common, P. pardalis or P. disjunctivis probably
