Plec For 12G Tank

Hello I need a plec for my 60cmx30cmx30cm tank.

So what plec should I get that will not out grow my tank.

I have wood in the tank for it to munch on

Look HERE for plecs under 8", then I suggest looking for ones growing around 4"ish for your tank.


Depending on the other fish, I would go for a group of otto's, though they can be sensitive.

Bull dog, or Pit bull plecos stay quite small but like Otocinclus, they need a reliable source of algae and may or may not take to supplemets such as vegetable matter and or wafers.
they also seem to better in a small group of four or five although I kept one,,, by itself in 10 gallon for nearly a year before i accidentally pulled it out with some plants i was removing.

Ottos do best with a mature tank so just watch out for this. They sometimes die for no apparent reason. Its actually cos they starve.

L134 leopard frog plecs are awesome so are L333 yellow king tiger but for that size tank i would go for L015 peckolita vittata beautifull 3" fish
