Plec Food

Was just wondering what I can feed my plecs really ? I give them algae wafers, but thats about it. Can you give them veg or fruit or anything like that ?

i don't know about fruit, but you can give them zucchini and cucumber.

You can feed them a variaty of foods, when I looked after my brothers I gave it lettuce (though not iceberg), cucumber and all sorts of stuff.

cucumber is good mine love it. take the skin off and bung and nuke it for a a little while until it go's soft. pea's are good warmed and shelled to. mine will eat prawn's to although to much of it is not too good for them.

Ok thanks for that. I have tried peas, but generally my Rams or Congos get them long before the plec does, although thats with the lights on, will try some cucumber tonight.
