I go to Frogend Aquatics at Homes n Gardens. I also go to one ?? Letty Green not right but near that roundabout in Hertford. Do you know the place ?

never heard of frogend aquatics, wheres that?

is the other one the aquatics warehouse in cole green. on the roundabout on the A414 junction between welwyn, hatfield and hertford. if so thats where i get all my stuff.

when your next in there (if thats the place you are talking about) ask for Alex. he's a friend of mine and he'll look after you well. also my tank pics are on the wall behind the counter.

I am from Royston so Shepreth is nearer so I go there. Yes Alex gave me a right earbashing when I helped a mate out. Her hubby died and her tank was well erm neglected

I did the worst thing I cleaned everything needless to say she has now got fewer fish but thanks to alex he sorted me out. I thought I was doing good. Filter all washed with clean water although it was dechlorinated. I however also altered ph with lethal stuff tank went white so as I passed on the way to Hatfield I went in and he got me to confess everything then ticked me off.
He was right but I was so red faced have not been back since. Hubby has though.

hmm, hopefully he put it in the nicest possible way. he's normally a very well manered polite kind of guy not the kind to rip your head off.

he does know his stuff and doesn't guess if unsure. something that is admirable in LFS staff.

Well to be honest I dont know it was Alex it was a year ago. I think probably last march as I bought my tank in April. I nearly thought my husband was going to say see you'll never be able to cope. Guess he thought well she listened to that one.!! We did it to a friends tank and she lost approx nine guppies through it. forgave me though
We did get there in the end.
I think now talking to hubby last night he said he was okay it was my reaction and the way I just wanted the ground to eat me up in situation.


Will visit soon as they did have really nice fish.
Will not buy Promise.May get other bits. Always get something in these places.
Do they still have as many Barbs? They did have a wonderful selection then.

if you wait till the end of janurary you'll see a massive stock list. they are closing the harlow store and doubling the size of the cole green one. theyre adding about 48 more stock tanks, so there should be just about everything in stock.
