WHat's wrong with blue ones? My first was a lovely dark blue. Blues can be vibrant.

there is nothing wrong with blues....i love his colour...but some on here have alsorts of colours...probably from breeders though i spose. My LFS only had 4 blue ones..Jackson looked the strongest.

I have a question for you all...

Jackson seems to now have a hole in his tail fin near his body at the top...think my platy's had a go...will this heal by itself or should i add meds?????...one of my platy's and a cory has a chunk missing from their tails, the platy's tail has healed..the cory's looks ok, just a piece missing.

I have ordered some Melafix anyway online..so it should be here in a few days.

Melafix could possibly harm the betta (damage the labyrinth organs) as the dose in the medication is too high. You would need to dilute it down before addindg it, or you could get Bettafix, which is a lower dose that is in the safe range for bettas.
