Please Help

The light on my tank broke last week and I wasn't able to replace til the weekend. When the light went back on my moonlight gorami has a huge hole in his side! He not eating and generally not looking happy. I did a 25% water change and added some medica tonic. I don't have a hospital tank and don't know what to do for the best. Please help

What other fish are in the tank?
What are your water stats?
How big is the tank?
Any chance you can section him off from the other fish in the tank? Like a breeding net/trap
Can you upload a picture? Also how is he I.e, fast breathing, active, poorly?
