If anyone remembers what I said about ym betta boy...just now...I found him with his complete body vertical...I don't know if its bloat anymore. I fasted him for 2 days like Kelly said. Please help me...I need it!

What do you feed the fish have you tryed shelled peas and daphnia on him, can he maintain his balance, no scales sticking out like a pinecone, what does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.

I'll check his scales when I get home later on, as well, his fins are all teribly torn!

If his fins are becoming ragged on their own then it is most likely that the swelling has brought on an internal bacterial infection.

What kind of meds do you have handy? You'll need something for an internal bacterial infection so you can treat it. I hope he pulls through for ya. My computer is on the fritz so I'll try to stay posted the best I can.

Ok, I have a couple here with me, and whatever else needed I can pick up...

I ahve aquarium salt, MelaFix, Betta Fix and somethign else, I forget rigth now. I better go get soem pics of his fins and all for you. Poor guy....

Here we are...this is where he is..24/7, at the bottom, except for the occasional air break.

See, how his fins are greeny-tinge at the bottom. He was my flare master, until this happened!

In these, you can really see his torn fins..

Please, help my little man!

It does look like some kind of internal problem, so you could try medicated food or meds. I think Tetra does make a medicted food but it's in flake form so he might not be too keen on it... I'll go search anyway. BRB...

Well I went onto Petsmart and they have Jungle Pepso Food.

I'm not saying you should buy it online (I know time is of the esscence here), so ask your LFS if they have it or something similar.

Poor lil' guy.....

Thanks, I'll see if they have something at the Pet Pavillion tomorrow. There is a huge walk-a-thon here tomorrow, and a whoel bunch fo produsts, for every single animal are being brought in. Its also 9:30PM...
