Please Help Urgent

I have a 10 gallon with filter and heater maintaining 80 degrees And standard filter my fish are 1 tiger barb 2 white tip tetrAs 2 cory catfish 3 neon tetras and 1 chameleon I'm looking to add a couple of slightly larger fish then. What I have what do you recommend

in a 10gal your not going to get larger fish.

your current stocking is quite off, the barb and white tip tetra are too big for your tank they also require groups of 6

Which cories do you have? they also need groups of 6, depending on which you have they may also be too big for the tank

the neons you can get away with but you need another 3.

no idea on the shrimp, assume its a peaceful sort?


how about this for stocking plan.

6 Neons
1 Betta (Siamese fighter) or 1 Dwarf Gourami
few shrimp

Tiger barbs: should have a number of 6 minimum. Some suggest 12. They nip fins if in small numbers.

White tip tetra: never heard of these but tetras need a minimum of 6 as do the neons.

Corys: again, these need to be in groups of 6 minimum.

I doubt your tank is big enough for 4 species of fish that need big numbers. If I were you I'd re-home/ get another tank for two species and increase the numbers of say the neons and corys.

Having a nice tank isn't about how many species of fish you can get into it. I've seen species tanks of tiger barbs that look great.

Have read that tiger barbs need to be in shoals of 10,and in larger tanks than 37 litres[10 gall.],as they do tend to nip other fish,corries need to be in shoals of 6,neon tetras need to be in shoals of 6,shrimp don`t add to the bio load so you can have a lot, doesn`t matter about them .Haven`t heard of chameleon shrimp though ,have you got a piccy?

Yeah thanks for the help and I'll try and get a pic up I'm getting 145 dollars from work so I'll try for a bigger tank but parents might be an issue I'll try and get a pic up it's like a mandarin shrimp but green to brown with white to dark yellow quite neat
