why are my plants turning yellowish brown? i have corkscrew vals and my lighting is a aqueon modular led. i dose API leaf zone every week which adds iron and potassium. no co2 lights are on about 10 hours

ph = 7.4

ammonia = 0

nitrites =0

nitrates = 0

what plant's are they new to the tank?

Can you post a pic as they're more than likely melting from immersed growth to submerged growth as most aquatic lasts are grown out of water with the roots immersed.

He said vallis, I thought that was a totally submerged plant not grown emersed

Vallis can sometimes be one of those plants that just does not grow. Years ago I had a tank full 6 ft, now I can't grow it for love nor money.

heres a pic guys [sharedmedia=core:attachments:68540]

I'd plump with nitrates 0 being one of the issues here. I'm guessing new tank. I'd worry about the cycle status of any tank with 0 nitrates, plus it means that there aren't many macronutrients for the plants.

Overall it may simply be that they're new and getting established still. How long have they been in there?

looks to be buried to deep, the crown needs to be above the substrate.

they have been in the tank for about a week straight out og the tap there are 0 nitrates
