Please Help Me Sex My Kribs

(Also in new world chiclids. ooops!) I bought these kribs a couple of weeks ago and I was told they are a male and female. But after some research I'm not so sure! I reckon they are 2 females.

They are both females. The skinnier one isnt mature. Take it back.

yep you have two females, you may want to think about keeping them both and getting a male I kept a pair for quite some time and the female killed two males, on the advice of somone I introduced a second female and another male, this apparently takes the pressure off the females as there is more more than one they have since bred twice, hope this helps

Kribensis Cihlids dont breed in harems, the breed in pairs and if you google search them, you will find no evidence that they breed in harems. Mine never did anyway. You might be thinking of the apistogramma's, they breed in harems.

Kribs are like most humans, 1male to 1female. The 2nd female will get harrased and beaten to death.
