Well... The front dorsal rays look extended from what I can tell... Which indicates male... But there is the pink belly, which strongly indicates female, and the blue spots, which some say is sure fire, but I don't really take it much into account, I think all four of mine have it and I have two of each!
Someone said something about dying which I guess is possible, but it seems like your (for sure) male would also probably be dyed, but not for sure...
It seems to me that if you had two males the smaller one would probably be miserable, hiding, and would NOT come up next to the larger for anything, but it isn't unusual for the males to chase the females a bit.
Anyway, I would tend to say female as well, but not for sure...
