I bought this plant as 'hygrophila' and another vendor said it was 'aponogeton'. He claimed there are aponogetons with and without a bulb...

Anyway, here is the plant. Any help is appreciated!

Looks like a Potamogeton species :)

Ah! You beat me. :lol: Yes, agreed looks like POTAMOGETON PERFOLIATUS to me. Yeah Plant finder! Leaves are too wide for P. gayi. They are listed as an easy species so let's see how it works. If it does well, I'll update the easy plants list to include it.

Great! I think though that it is a groenlandia, because according to wikipedia the difference between the 2 genera is that the potamogeton species have opposite leaves and the groenlandia have them alternating, which is the case with this plant. I will try to investigate a bit more.

Edit: sorry it is the other way around, so it is potamogeton...
