Hi, I'm new so I hope I have done this correctly!
I'm worried about my danios - 5 days ago I got 3 danios to start off my new aquarium (I'd had the filter running 4 weeks before I got them). There aren't any other fish in there.
Anyway, I thought one was missing today so I kept looking (thought he was hiding) and eventually found him trapped behind the filter by a sucker. I took the filter out and managed to free him (I think he's OK, just a bit subdued) and then I put the filter back in. When I turned the filter on again, it seemed to shoot out loads of bits (presumably waste) so I tried to scoop some of it into a jug and then changed about 15L of water (60L tank).
Will my fish be OK? I've tested the water with a 6 in 1 strip and it all seems OK, but I am really worried about all the stuff the filter shot out.
Any advice? Thanks for any help.
