First I should send you to this post.. http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/430814-haha-surprise/ I made it this morning. Since this morning when I found the eggs all white or partial white eggs are gone about 50ish clear remain. But when it was time to say good night I turned off light and bang soon after things got wierd. My I think male got mean!! Was chasing female across tank. They were lip locking. The female kept floading face up showing belly of male came near. The male is really garding eggs from all of them. I read that the lip locking could be dominance show (aggression) or mating ritual. Im so confused. Should I seporate then. Did I mess something up leaving eggs in. Please help!!

Being Cichlids, Angels can get nasty.
If the attacks are non stop it may be a good idea to seperate them, as the female will become quite stressed.
I just put my four back in the same tank, after it began to leak. The night it leaked I had my first spawn. No eggs made it. Anyway, within hours I had to remove one of the non mated pair, now I may have to remove one of the mated pair.
As for judging male and female, even Angel experts,(which I am not), say the best way to determine sex is via the breeding tube. Best seen, when in the act of laying eggs.
After the spawn I believe I have two males and two females. Even in a four foot tank, two breeding pairs of Angels, not a good idea.
