The female is pregnant.
Will it matter if its from the sunset??

As far I know platys will breed with other platy's they are not fussy if they are not the same colour...lol

depends on how long you have had the female, she may have been pregnant when you brought her

It won't matter for the health of the fish how or when the female got pregnant. If you are trying to breed a particular color it will matter quite a bit.
