Platys With Guppy Markings?

My two platys gave birth to approx 40 fry about 7 wks ago, the fry have guppy like patterned tails and spots on their sides, is it possible for Platys to mate with Guppies??

And no, platies and guppies cannot have fry together - Platies can have nice colouring aswell as guppies!

Ummmm... Yeah, every single fish in that picture is indeed, a Guppy!

Definately guppies. Are you sure you don't have a guppy female in your tank that didn't secretly give birth?

Guppies, almost all females... except that one little curious thing on the left... Is that a guppy female with a gonopodium I see?

I see two males, possibly a third but its a bit too blurry to be sure.
