One of the platies in my tank is not well. His right eye is covered with a sort of partially cloudy dome, and he's generally lethargic. I wanted to get a picture, but he's hiding under the filter.
All other fish in the tank are fine (1 common plec, 4 buenos aires tetras, 7 rummy nose tetras, 1 female betta and 5 black widow tetras, 6 other platies).
He seems to have had a bit of a problem with his mouth ever since he was born, a birth defect I suppose, but it never bothered him. I just wonder if he's generally weaker than the others and that's why he's ill and the others aren't.
Tank has been set up since 2002 and has been very healthy, no major outbreaks of anything. It's a 260 litre tank.
Any ideas what it might be, or how to treat it?
