I currently have 4 platys, 3 female + one male. 2 females are red wag platys, and one female and one male are mickey mouse platys. Will the male mickey mouse breed with all the females, or just the other mickey mouse.
Thanks.

The male will pay no attention to the colors of the females. It will breed with any female that will accept him.

Will the entire group recognize that they're platys? Because the petstore salesperson (ugh) told me that I should get another red wag because I only had one. Rar.... I think they had rainbow platys, too.

So, is my 10 gal full to the limit now?

You might get away with one or two more platies if the 4 you have are everything in the tank but I would wait a bit. The fry are very likely to fill that tank in a hurry.

I also have a dwarf Gourami, so it's pretty full.
(He's not at all aggressive, he only just started taking food from the surface instead of bottom-feeding, and likes hanging around an ornament. If I ever do move him to a new tank, the ornament will likely go as well. ^_^ )

I figured out how to put pics.... I think...

On top is my one male, beneath him is my newer red wag

I think she might be pregnant , what do you think?
Anyways, that's my tank.

Sorry, I just can't seem to post pics. Links are what you get.

I copied the links to your pictures from Imageshack on the line marked as "Forum" and deleted the second line of text from each one because it was an ad for twitter.

The line I deleted was this image

We would have had an ad for twitter for each image if I hadn't deleted it. What a PITA that would be if I needed to always delete a line of code. Try an account at Photobucket. The space is free and the images come without ads attached. This is one of my old ones of a harbor seal. He was on the beach when I went out for a walk one day during last year's vacation. On that site you copy the code line called IMG code.
