Platy With Swim Bladder Issue

I was just taking some fish pictures for my album and ended up getting a picture where Muffin and Cupcake are lined up nicely showing their sizes. Shame, though, I didn't manage to get my similar aged calico platy baby in the picture too to compare... but she is a big scaredy-cat and hiding at the bottom out of sight.


Anyhow, on the left is Cupcake who is slightly longer and Muffin to the right who is the one whose butt was floating away. LOL

Both blue corral platies are rounder than all of my calico babies, but Muffin is the roundest of all, as well as the shortest in length.

What a lovely clear picture!! Nice to meet your platies! My calico fry look more like tuxedo platies altho neither of their parents were like that. Must be a throwback.
How is Muffin now? Is her butt still where it should be? lol

I am told Gwen (the mommy to all the calicos) looks like a cross between a bumblebee and tuxedo... but I think she looks inbetween a yellow and cream calico. None of the babies have the spots as neatly as mommy.

Muffin is doing fine now... I think I might do 1 day a week of daphnia only in hopes to keep her butt where it belongs. LOL
