The white blotch is it fluffy or like a bleached out mark.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.
Are the fish healthy in body weight.
How long have you had the livebearers by looking at your ph.

It's fluffy, but not excessively so.
No signs of rubbing.
She's plump, just like she should be.
The swords and platies, 4 days, my mollies, a few months.

If it s fluffy maracyn one and two.
Good luck.

I guess melafix was having some effect, the spot on it's side is clearing up, but it's left an open sore.

Is maracyn safe to use with injured fish? I'm looking for my camera's cord, pics soon.

With a sore I would go in with maracyn plus, or maracyn one and two, as sores can soon become holes.
Good luck.
Increase aeration, the fish will not cope with a med if its heavy breathing and really weak, best to end there suffering when they get to that point.

I'm not sure if it's even aware it's sick, it's swimming around and eating, but just a little reclusive.

He will cope with the med then.
Good luck.

I'd just like to say that the fungus is almost completely gone, thanks for the help Wilder. :D

Just need to keep water perfect until the sores close up.

That good news.
Don't cut the med to short, keep dosing.
Good luck.
