Okay, Ddraig, here are the pictures you've been wanting. Now will you stop bugging me?

Just kidding of course, I don't mind at all. But anyway, here are my newest Rainbow Platies, and Variatus Platies. Let me just warn you, right here...my pictures stink. Okay, now that that is out of the way, and you are sufficently warned, on to the piccies!

Rainbow Platy Female:
"Oooh, not a picture! I'm having a bad tail day! Let me hide it behind a plant....okay!"

Rainbow Platy Males:
"Hehe....look at that box thing. It's looking at me....that's funky!"

"Nevermind that other male over there, I am the handsome one here"

Variatus Platies:
"Weeeee, let's make it hard for Anna to get a picture!"

"Yeeeee-haaaaaw....okay!"

Rice - Glad someone enjoyed them! I just added them on for my amusement, when it was really late.

Fishykisses - Ooooh, hard to say. All were store bought. I'm going to say the Variatus are just shy of a year, the Rainbow Males over a year, the Rainbow female a little under a year, maybe 10 months. Just my guesses though.

Chook - Thanks! I do have a lot more...however, it took me about 4 days to get these semi-decent ones where you can actually see the fish. And then another few hours to struggle them on to the computer. I am not a technological person.

these pictures are pretty good I think! I know from my own experience, platys are damn hard to take pictures of, because if yours are anything like mine, they never stop moving!! Very cute

Haha, yeah, mine are like your's, DragonLass. Neeeeeever stop moving. Especially the Variatus, as you can see by the blur.

They're gorgeous, I love Platys. I think I might have a look around for a rainbow Platy myself. The Variatus are lovely too. Worth waiting for the pics.

P.s. Coincidence........ the same thing happened when I took pics of my guppies, they're all swimming the same direction! "get a pic of my good side"

Yeah, the Rainbows are awesome. The males especially...the pictures don't really capture thier colors well. I think you'd like them. The Variatus are great too! The male's anal fin is especially getting pretty...it's really long and wavy.

Haha, I just noticed they are all swimming the same direction! Funny funny!
