Platy or molly ID ??

Hi all, I have acquired a fishy from a family member but he/she is the only one. I am going to get some friends for it.
Please could somebody advised if it a platy or molly and if possible male or female ?

Well, the anal fin of a male and female looks different.

It’s a male platy. If you get more platys then I recommend two or more females since male livebearers harass females. Female platys are just as pretty as the males though!
