Platy labor

Woke up this morning and found one baby in the breeder net with the mom. It has been 7 hrs. now and she hasn't had anything more but ALOT of poop. How long can they be in labor for? How will I know when she is done and it is safe to release her back into the tank? Any information helpful. Thanks!

HI, I think they're a bit like humans, one of my oldest platys has given birth in an hour, my other two who are 12 months old tend to take hours,
congrats on the babys I would remove your female as soon as she has given birth though, mine start eating the fry after a while, not pretty,
