Platy Is Ill

I have a female platy and have had her healthy aswrll as all my other fish for avout a year... I added a few new comers here and there but nothing recently. water quality is perfect I do a 25% change every ten days and filters are kept up on. Anyway she has been staying near the top and glancing and clamping no signs of ick on anyone and everyone appetite is good she eats fine aswell just isnt acting normal and she is pregnant but fairly new batch brewing less then a month in there.

Was she an adult when you got her? If she was and you have had her for a year, maybe she's just getting old?

I have some rather elderly rescue platies that behave the same, hang around the surface, come alive after a wc, eat like pigs but prefer to "chill out", the younger platies act normally, I think its an old age thing.

She was the first fish I bought and the biggest I have bought (I like to watch them grow) I keep a close eye on everyone in the tank so I will be watching her hopefully tha ts all it is thank you for replying and helping
