For sure! I'm not sure if she's done yet, but there's 7 babies total so far!
There was an 8th one but sadly it got eaten.

I think the expression "A watched pot Never boils" comes into play her I also and expecting a drop anytime now.Also its from one of my younger platy's this will be her second drop.

I left her overnight, she didn't have anymore babies, so the total is 8 (-1) for getting eaten, so I have 7 babies that are doing just fine!
I'll try to get some pics when their a bit bigger!

Platys were the first livebearer fry I raised. Have fun with the little ones!! I hope they all do well.

guppies were the only fry that i raised but i had betta fry for about a week but they died so thats when i switched to something easier,

Thanks, I have them in the breeder box, (as there's tons of endler fry that could eat them) but the box is getting pretty dirty with food particles, how can I clean it without sucking up the babies or anything? Any suggestions?

You could transfer the fry into a container then clean the trap or you could use a pipette to suck out the particles.

I just cleaned the box, I sold all my endler fry to my LFS, he's going to give me store credit,
now I only have the trio 2F/1M platies in the tank, and the 8 babies, I was going to put them with the adults, but I remembered when she was giving birth, the other female ate one
So I'm definately keeping them in the trap till their a bit bigger, I'm going to keep 1 that I really like, and sell the rest to the same guy I sold my endlers to,.
