Platy Fry Tank Mates?

I have a 30L set up for some platy fry. At the moment, I only have 9 - all at different stages. As I do not plan on keeping all of them, could I put some little nano fish in as well? I am thinking along the lines of a small shoal of CPDs or Chilli Rasboras or Endlers or simular. I also have a lone cherry shrimp that I am keeping in a breeder to add, so will probably get him some "Friends". Can I add some small nano species to this tank to fill it out a bit more? Would they eat the fry? I think their mouths would be too small, but I don't know

I wouldn't add anything else; the platy fry need all that space to be able to grow properly.
