As you can see from my sig I have a variety of fry . All are growing like mad and are very happy  Not lost one from birth as yet...fingers crossed :)
I just have a problem withe one little guy. He was born over 2 weeks ago now and still looks like a new born :/ . His brothers and sisters are 3 times the size and even the latest batch that are a few days old are bigger than him now  . He just looks all eyeballs and stomach :-( poor little guy. I see him eating, and there is plenty of food to go round so thats not the problem. Any ideas?
I know fry grow at different rates and that can be seen in my tank, but they do grow....hes just not grown at all.
Maybe I'm just being too much of a die hard, wanting them all to make it and thrive.
Anyone had this problem before? and what was the outcome for the fry?

I hate to see the little so small and helpless, while all his tank mates are growing up so fast :-(

That always happens with my fry... you almost always get a little. I had 8 swordatail fry once, 7 of them died of different diseases :-( But the smallest one lived. I still have her now... yes it's a girl. She is still very small even though she is 1 year old :)

Don't worry though... these little fry will grow, just give them time!

That's good to know  .. I was woried someone would say that to put him to sleep would be the kindest thing. Hes so cute he's off the cute scale and always comes to the front of the tank when i'm watching them . Beedie eyes peeping at me...bless ;)

Had a similar problem with one of mine...had a batch of fry born last October...one survivor...the little guy is just now developing his sword. Up until about a month ago he was only a half inch long.

Growth spurt? Odd, isn't it? :)
