Platy Fry - Already! - Pictures Added

Fry count is now up to 6

I think that is it now though, they're all coming out for feeding time now so you can see them together!

They seem to be able to swim freely amongst the other fish now with no fear of being eaten.

They are just over a week and a half now. They are starting to get black markings appearing on their bodies

Now I've got more fry!

From the colourings of the first ones, I think the first 2 were from my Wagtail Female and the following 4 came a few days later from my white female.

I noticed yesterday that the males were following the wagtail female around non stop and she was looking fat and she had a white spot next to anal bits. Not sure how many new ones survived, I've seen 2 at the same time so far.

It's 3.5 weeks since the last drop, and the next fry appeared a few days later so the white one is probably due in a few days. The white one isn't looking very fat yet though.


It's made me realise how much the fry have grown though - the new ones are tiny in comparison!
