im sorry, i cant really say, but my platy does the same way but it goes crazy, consistly does 360 and jump out the water doing that, then after 2-3min it stop and swims around like nothing happened, but as a side effect....it swims sideways, so u got it easy........hope yours feels well :good:

she keeps doing it so i figure its something internally i am waiting for some one to give me more info on whats wrong, but thanks bud

i dont know if this helps , but is there something hanging of your fish or in or off it's mouth and i it eating because it could be a hook worm, that happened to my other fish and the rest of them were trying to get it off

She has an extremely sunken stomach. I would quarentine her if you can to make sure you can keep an eye on exactly what she's eating and what colour her faeces is.
It seems like she is having a bit of trouble maintaining balance and is generally looking a bit subdued.

Her gills do look a bit enflamed.

That platy really is ill. I said she had a sunken stomach. Not that she's just a bit slim, her thin ness definitely isn't due just to giving birth. Although it would explain why you hadn't noticed until now.

I don't know, I'm no expert with fish diseases.

But like I said, definitely get her on her own so you can monitor exactly how much she's eating. Try to get her on high protein and high fibre. Eg. Blood worm, cichlid pellets and prawn for protein and peas, cucumber and zucchini (courgette) for the fibre.

Then keep and eye on how she looks overall, note any red ness around gills/anus. Any odd coloured poop. Any other odd behaviours and keep an eye out for worms.

Hopefully someone will be able to help you further either today or tomorrow.

ok well thanks a lot though i will feed her peas,i am unsure if she will make it threw the night but we will see

She needs something high protein. Not just peas. The peas would be to stop the high protein from giving her constipation.
If you don't have any of the protein foods I have listed you could always try her with some boiled egg. But give her the egg yolk not the white. You have to be careful with it though, you could easily spoil the water if any bits get left and aren't removed.
