I am a little confused about my female platy. I think I can see a pretty dark gravid spot but because she is a light colour I never know if its just food and poo I can see rather than fry in her belly. There has not been a male in with her for about 6-8 months I think. She has been pregnant before but I have never seen any of the fry and I would like to keep a couple from her this time round if I can as we are currently trying to stock a 155l tank and I love the colour of this platy so would like to have a few more like her. Sometimes she looks really big like she is about to pop and other times I think she doesn't look quite as big as earlier in the day. Very confusing. I have added a pic so you can comment.
