Platty On Its Side

My platty that's been on and off sick for a couple of weeks is swimming on its side hes now in a hospital tank but I don't know what .. If anything I can do ..... Any ideas ?

You could try lowering the water level and raising the heat, but it's probably not going to have a good outcome, tbh

It's in a 10litre tank with a sponge filter (no heater yet but I'm adding warm water to raise temp) my heaters not due to arrive till Tuesday for this tank. It does try to swim around but keeps ending up floating at the top on its side my main tank stats are nitrites 0 ammonia 0 nitrates 20 I'd done a full filter clean and tank clean this morning but this fish has been acting strange and being picked on by the other platys for a week or so this is why I've been out and got a hospital tank but haven't got all the stuff yet .... Poor thing

Im sorry to teel you this but thats what happend to mine and..... It died

Yeah I think it is gonna die ( just don't know what I could do to try and help it

It's hardly breathing now and just lying still the only movement is from the sponge filters bubbles pushing it round poor thing
