hello. I've got 1 male and 2 female platties. The felmales are quite fat. I'm assuming they're pregnant, which is cool.

About the tell-tale signs when they're due for labour, Do they always show..

ie, the black gravid spot. Does that always happen. How fat do they get. Is it to the point where they look completely rediculous or just a little plump.

THis is my 1st time owning platties and would love to keep their fry alive. It would help alot if I knew what to look for, to know when I HAVE to seperated them. I don't have a seperate breeding tank, so I'll probably be putting them in some kind of breeding net or something.

I'd really help some advice and to know what people have seen in their own experience. thanx heaps!
