Platies...please Help

My friend is thinking of getting a 10 gallon tank and he loved platies, he would like all of them to be males so they don't mate. Is this OK? Will they fight? Also, how many red tails and mickey mouse can go in a 10 gallon, he's thinking maybe 6, but he would like a bottom feeder like a cory catfish, but since he needs at least six, he won't be able to put them in. are six platies OK? is there space for a bottom feeder, if so, which one?

Hi keeping all males will be fine and if anything the best idea in a small tank like this 6 sounds like a decent number any mix of the colour forms he wants would be fine

As for a bottom feeder - as you say not really room for a school of cories but he could go for Cherry Shrimp or any of the other small shrimp species like Ghost or Bee etc
