I've went for the real plants, not keen on the plastic stuff. I bought one of these plant kits - 50 plants for a 24" tank. That was fine enough, and pleased with what I got but, think I'll pick and choose from the catalogues make up my own choice.
I've high nitrate in my tank, my water supply has a count of 50 on the eSHa test strips, I'm toying with the idea of reshuffling the substrate - adding sand or whatever, adding different gravel types and replanting.
