hi guys,
i love all those heavily planted tanks you see in the pics section, but everytime i got and buy plants, get them planted a few weeks later they either have been eaten or are dying, does anyone have any ideas how to save this from happening?

Read everything in the sticky section and then identify where you are going wrong!!!!!

lights?
CO2?
Fert?

......!?!?! would be a good start....

Also what do you have in ur tank for them to be eaten...i suggest they won`t be compatable if you want a planted tank!

BUT: what do i know....i`m only a nooby myself!!

You could also by easy to grow plants, java fern, java moss and/or the anubia species are all good ones to start with. The pinned plant guide should help.

PS Chris, stop putting yourself down! You seem to have learnt loads since joining (which was only a few weeks after me!) The fact that you are making the effort to answer peoples questions is a good thing, even if you're not 100% sure you saying the right things!
