Hi there where is the best place online to order plants from ?
Im looking at buying a collection for a new 20g tank

Id reccommend buying plants from greenline. I ordered a selection plants for a tank smaller than mine and i still got too many. There waas a lot of different species of plants and none were dead, dying asnd they were packaged really well and were moist which is good. Many people reccommend greenline here but ive seen people have bought from Java plants here and they too have been good.

I've used Java-plants before without any problems though others have suggested that Greenline are better so I'm trialling them this time around.

Ethically Greenline don't stock the invasive species that are becoming a nuisance in British waterways so I'm drawn towards them but the website is a bit more difficult to navigate than that of Java Plants.

They both do plant collections, I've ordered one from greenline this time around, I've never tried one of Java's though they seem to contain similar things. If you want to go densely planted then I'd recommend getting one that's bigger than your tank, this also means that if there are plants in the collection you're not too keen on you can pass them on whilst still having enough for your aquarium.

I've actually ordered 2 of their collections for my 20G tank a) because I know there's some plants I don't want in there that I can pass on and b) because it means you get more of each species and I don't want too many different types in my tank (personal preference thing). It still worked out cheaper than selecting the plants I wanted individually. (I'm also betting that they'll be some that wont thrive as well as others )

The other option is to go for a smaller tank collection and then top it up with specimen plants that you like specifically.
