Hi all about 3 weeks ago i set up my new tank and added some amazon swords, vallis and java moss. I opted for the Oliver knott plant substarte under my gravel and have dosed with TPN + once a week.

The Problem is that the Valois and amozon swords don't seem to be doing to good. The Valois looks limp and lifeless and the amazon swords leaves are starting to turn brown in places, the java moss is doing fantastic though.

Any ideas on what I could do, the lighting is two 30w t's and tank is 230l

Thanks in advance: Craig

to get the best out of TPN plus, you're better off dosing it daily in a smaller dose as the macros will get used up much quicker and these are what the plants need more that the micros.

They'll be fine dude, all my swords looked like they were dying of when I put them in my new tank but they soon perk up again, I had a tiny runner about 3" tall and put it in, it looked like it was on its way out with brown leaves but it slowly shooted and now it takes up half my tank lol. Yeah and same as Ian said, dose daily.
