Can i add plants to my tank that has only just started cycling?
The cycle will not affect or kill of the plants will it?
Would the plants ever help the cycle along?
Just some java moss, java fern and anubias nana.

Thanks.

In a word, yes.

Plant roots help to oxygenate your substrate, which in turn encourages good bacteria to grow in it. It gets very complex, about the plants taking in one thing and giving out another, and with the bacteria doing the same, but as I say, in short yes they are fine and yes they can help.

That being said, you need to make sure the plants are healthy else if they die off you will start having problems.
