I am going to get these plants for my 37 gallon tank:

1. Some anubias
2. Jungle Val
3. Java Fern
4. Amazon Sword
5. Micro Sword or Dwarf Hairgrass

Which light would you suggest out of these two?

I like the color of the second one more because it is black, but I am not quite sure what the lunar light is? Will the lunar light mess up the growth of my plants, or should I get different lights?

the first one has the right light spectrum and is even cheaper than the orbit light..i use the same one.one thing to consider is that with the 65watter you only have about 1.7wpg if im right..i believe they make a 130watter that will give you 3.5wpg and allow you to grow a much better choice of plants..just a thought..if you wanna seriously grow some good stuff invest in some good light so you wont need to upgrade later if this is possible..

the lunar light is just a blue led that gives off a moon effect at night when the light is off..i use one to..looks pretty cool at night, but you can buy these seperate if you want one and i use the r2 moonlight..you can google it and check one out..

Thanks danski, could someone give me a link to a light that would give me two or more watts per gallon. I don't think I want a lunar light because the tank is in my room and a lunar light would make it hard to sleep.

yah sorry its 130watts and would give you 3.5wpg and would be great for most plants..
heres the one at big als

its basically two 65watters.
are you planning on adding co2? you would probably wanna check into this also, because you might start to get the algae issues when you get higher lighting wpg..i think you can get on and be a bit safer with 2.5wpg if you dont plan on getting co2 for your tank? just another thought..
